Aaron's father, Dave Weinbaum, got involved in the burger business before Aaron was even born in the St. Louis area at 22 years old. McDonald's gave Dave the opportunity to open the very first restaurant in Rolla, MO in 1975. You can certainly say that Aaron was born and raised in the restaurants his father owned - bringing him and his sister along to work often. Aaron started earning an official paycheck at 16 years old as a crew member. After graduating from Rolla High School, he went on to earn a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Mizzou.
Aaron ventured out to gain experience outside of McDonald’s for a few years, but he soon returned to the family business to start the process to become an Owner/Operator himself. The right to ownership does not come easy for a child of a McDonald’s Owner/Operator. Aaron worked his way through the prestigious “Next Generation” program McDonald’s requires second generation candidates to complete in order to obtain a stake in the family business. In I2004, Aaron was given the opportunity to take over ownership of the Salem, MO McDonald's restaurant.
Today, Aaron along with his wife Brenna, own and operate six McDonald's restaurants. They are raising their blended family of six children in St. James, MO.
