Rex McMillan

Rex has been in the burger business for 49 years started as a crew member when he was just 16 years old at the N. Glenstone McDonald's location in Springfield, MO. He had a lot of fun working at McDonald's which allowed him to build up his confidence by working alongside his team and customers. A few years after graduating from Hillcrest High School, Rex was asked to train to become a swing manager at the Lebanon, MO McDonald's restaurant.

During that time, Rex met his now wife, Sheila, who worked at that restaurant location too. He needed a date to attend a local event in the area and asked Sheila if she would go with him. She said yes, and years later the two married and began building their family and roots within the Ozarks.

In 1988, Rex was given the opportunity to move back to his hometown to work as an area Supervisor over three McDonald's restaurants in Springfield, MO. A little over a decade later, he was given the opportunity to become a McDonald's Owner/Operator purchasing three McDonald's restaurants in the area.

Over the years, Rex has been grateful for the life experiences he has had thanks to McDonald's. Today, Rex and Shelia still own and operate three McDonald's restaurants in Springfield, MO.
